What you need
- A Mac with Apple siliconM1 or later, on macOS 13 Ventura or later.
- Claude Code or Codex, for the analystInstalled and signed in to your own Claude or ChatGPT plan. Tessera finds the CLI on your Mac. Without one, everything else works.
- A Rithmic login, for live data and tradingFrom your broker or prop firm. Without one, Tessera opens on demo data.
Install
- 01Open the disk imageOpen the downloaded .dmg and drag Tessera into Applications.
- 02Allow it onceThe beta is not notarized by Apple yet, so macOS stops it the first time. Open System Settings, then Privacy & Security, choose Open Anyway next to Tessera, and confirm. You do this once.
- 03Connect, or start on demo dataAdd your Rithmic login under Connections (it is stored in the macOS keychain), or explore on demo data. The analyst column picks up Claude Code or Codex if it is installed.
